For over 60 years, the Phoenix Rescue Mission has been a place of hope, healing, and new beginnings for countless men, women and children in our community struggling with homelessness, addiction, and trauma. Offering a hot meal, a warm shower, clean clothing and a welcome smile is often the start of a new life.
We are fortunate enough to have food, clothing, shelter and amazing jobs. We want to help others attain these basic keys to a brighter future.
Arizona Women’s Education and Employment (AWEE) makes it possible for people in our community to help women overcome obstacles and get better jobs. By providing specialized programs that give resources, help and support like skills training, career mentoring and more, AWEE clients are able to move beyond their own obstacles to realize a better tomorrow for themselves, their families and their communities. AWEE also connects each client to Arizona’s top employers, whom AWEE has fostered long-term partnerships and collaborations with, so that clients can find the right position. Lastly, they can connect clients to a supportive community that offers essential caring, nurturing and advocacy for long-term career success. We support AWEE because we believe women in business should always help other women reach their personal and professional goals.
The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust embraces all measures that complement the conservation, preservation and protection of wildlife. These include anti-poaching, safeguarding the natural environment, enhancing community awareness, addressing animal welfare issues, providing veterinary assistance to animals in need, rescuing and hand rearing elephant and rhino orphans, along with other species that can ultimately enjoy a quality of life in wild terms when grown.
Because really? Who doesn't love a baby elephant?
